Brambleweb is a hand drawn design of never ending tangled brambles with metallic thorns, creating art nouveau shapes with a slightly gothic edge and creating the effect of being nestled in a bramble thicket.

The hand drawn design features a gnarly ancient oak tree with tangled vines growing diagonally up the wall with a few delicate acorns. Legend calls the mighty oak the most powerful of all the trees. The simple white colour way is in very clean monochrome with acorns in gilver.

'Misselthwaite’ is inspired by the eerie mystery and strength of nature taking over and of course the locked up secret garden of the neglected Misselthwaite Manor in Frances Hodgson-Burnett’s classic story The Secret Garden.
I have strayed away from traditional printing methods this time to keep the shades and tones, smudges and mistakes of the original pencil and charcoal sketch in this digitally printed wallpaper showing the character of the initial drawing but recoloured in duck egg blue and natural greens.

Lichen is so often uncelebrated and unnoticed. It doesn’t have beautiful bright flowers, it isn’t glamorous, but the intricate structures and endless shades of dusty grey greens in this group of organisms are delicately beautiful and despite their apparent fragility can survive for hundreds of years. From a distance Rapunzel Stripe appears to be a classic monochrome striped wallpaper but on closer inspection the stripes are hand drawn plaits of hair, creating a contemporary, fairy tale inspired version of the traditional stripe.
