Wall&decò
Wall&decò was born in 2005, from an intuition of Christian Benini, founder and creative director of the brand, originally an advertising photographer: in reproducing an image with large leaves to be used as a backdrop for a photographic set, he immediately perceived its high decorative value and possible applications in the world of furniture.
Wall&decò specialises in the creation of made-to-measure contemporary wallpapers. Every subject reflects a commitment to excellence, with design service ranging from customizing colors and sizes to crafting entirely new patterns, meeting even the most complex project requirements. Since 20 years Wall&decò wallpapers are epitome of quality, technique, and aesthetic sophistication.
Wall&decò offers a range of wall decoration solutions that adapt to various needs and spaces, blending functionality and design. Whether for residential or commercial settings, indoors or outdoors, the variety of collections allows for the perfect choice for every intended use.

Luca De Bona and Dario De Meo, architect and designer, meet on the road between Milan and the Italian Veneto region and begin a collaboration that draws inspiration from the trip, to produce marks and drawings that respond to the needs of the contemporary home interiors. They collaborate with prestigious furnishing, lighting and decor companies, looking after art direction, concept and product development. A research in micro and macro scale that reviews and merges different spheres: architecture, design, graphics and art, to create innovative environments and objects, but able to tell stories and stir emotions.

Established in 2007 by Draga Obradovic and Aurel K. Basedow, Draga & Aurel is a multidisciplinary studio and workshop for art, collectible design, and furnishing items. Armed with a diversified background in art, fashion, and craftsmanship, Draga and Aurel are widely known for combining original methods with an artistic approach to materials and composition. Pioneers in upcycling in the design sector, they began their journey by reinventing vintage furniture and objects in their own style and shaping the first Deshabillé and Heritage collections. Their 2009 debut at Milano Design Week marked the beginning of significant partnerships with furniture companies, firstly Baxter and Wall&Deco, followed by new ones throughout the years, including Visionnaire and Gallotti&Radice, and more recently Poltrona Frau and Giorgetti. In 2019, the couple staggered the crowds at Milano Design Week with a new personal project: the Transparency Matters collection, which explores the use and the possibilities of transparency, always related to lights and colors phenomena. From its launch, the studio has continued to develop the collection, gaining more popularity. Between art and design, Transparency Matters collectible design pieces find the perfect display in the most prestigious galleries, such as Rossana Orlandi Gallery, Nilufar Gallery and Todd Merrill Studio. Moreover, they often participate in art and design fairs. Their design production stands alongside the artistic output of Aurel K. Basedow, comprising powerful, evocative, and poetic works. At Draga & Aurel, art and design follow two parallel and complementary paths, in a continuous exchange that strengthens and sometimes inverts their meanings.

"Our creations, whether they be pieces of design or architecture, are derived from observations of change in human behavior.
It is important to see these products outside a fixed location or period – they do not reflect the latest fad but are the result of rationality and pondered craftsmanship. Our initial drafts are projections of our own needs. Our two visions are complementary and our design consensual. The challenge of our work is about merging function, innovation and longevity. We seek to project courage and serenity through the purity and originality of our work…
And there it is, that is what characterizes our creations: research, often lengthy, difficult, exhilarating to achieve what in a word can only be expressed as EVIDENCE."

Raw is a project of the interior designer Paolo Badesco, who since 2005 presents to the public in Milan, through its first store in Corso Magenta 96, a repertoire of suggestions with a northern European flavor: vintage furniture and accessories deliberately not restored, combined with a selection of contemporary works resulting from a selection between Europe and the United States. In 2011, with the architect Constantino Affuso, formerly senior architect at the Paolo Badesco interior design studio, the project expanded by acquiring a new location in Via Palermo 1, in the heart of Brera Design District. The new proposals and daring installations have earned Raw to the attention of the international press and of an increasingly sensitive public to new trends.

A long training period in the field of architectural conservation allowed her to gain direct contact with the artworks of famous artists, paintings and frescos of great artist and architectural impact and value.
Her knowledge of materials and execution techniques, which recall traditional settings, are conveyed through a determined style, without academic formalisms, at times graceful, but always characterized by a ruvid material trait. Projected towards scenographic decoration, her works are carried out with architects and designers and consist in the creation of residential and commercial spaces with strong retrò atmospheres and slight bohemian tastes.

Designed by Mae Engelgeer
Textile design has always been at the heart of Dutch designer Mae Engelgeer’s work, from her high school days to her studies at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and Sandberg Instituut. Since opening her own studio in 2013, she has nurtured her curiosity for the craft, experimenting within the existing boundaries of textile production to elevate old techniques to modernity. Mae Engelgeer’s work embraces subtle color palettes, patterns and linear elements. Complex compositions merge with perfection to establish harmony. Creative explorations into the material and texture contrasts result in works that are luxurious in their tactility and dimensionality.
In addition to developing her own collections, Mae Engelgeer also works with brands around the world on projects ranging from textile products and furniture design to material explorations and art/color direction, large-scale installations and public artworks.
"My work is driven by intuition and the desire to create. While I consider myself to be a dreamer in the creation of new atmospheres, I am able to quickly translate those ideas into tangible works using the right textures, materials and colors. When asked for my vision in collaborations, I feel a certain sense of freedom to explore a multitude of possibilities."
